WA & OR Motorcycle trip - May 15-18, 2005

Day 1 | Day 2 | Day 3 | Day 4

If you're looking at this road sign (Wind River Hwy and Curley Creek Rd.), then you're in motorcyle heaven. The upper section of Wind River Hwy has 52 curves in 5 miles. And these are genuinely great curves. Well cambered, good pavement. Curley Creek road has super sweepers.

Sweeping again.

We did a side trip up to Lava canyon outside of the town of Cougar on the south side of Mt. St. Helens. This is a fun road with plenty of twisties and ends up very close to the base of Mt. St. Helens.
