Motorized Bike Rally - Ride to Leadbetter Point

Home | Saturday Night | Bikes, Engines, etc. | Ride to Leadbetter Point

The ride to Leadbetter Point (the end of the world) was great. I'm not used to riding on flat territory, so it was nice just staying in a high gear most of the time. We stuck to the speed limits for the most part and enjoyed the scenery (historic Oysterville, forest-lined roads, views of Willapa Bay, etc.).

Sunday morning, Frank emerges from the tent. It was great sleeping weather. Cool, with an occasional torrential downpour of rain. Woke up to clearing skies.

Yours truly on the ride to the park to meet up with everyone.

Riders gathered at the park before heading out.

Augidog reading us the riot act, I mean giving us safety rules (singe file=good, 2 abreast=ok, 3 abreast=you're history).

Heading out, stopped at an intersection. Intersections were a bit of a challenge with this many bikes.
